What are the methods to use UPI 123PAY?
The UPI123Pay package has four different methods as listed below.
These
additional features on UPI, typically available on smartphones, will
also be accessible through a mobile app, which can be installed on a
feature phone.
Missed
call: It allows users of simple or 'feature' phones to access their
bank account and perform routine transactions such as receiving,
transferring funds, buying, paying bills, etc. if they dial the phone
number displayed at the merchant and press the answer button before 3
seconds, they'll get a call from the customer care team asking them to
authenticate the transaction by providing their UPI PIN.
If
a person were to use the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) option, he or
she would need to call a set number and perform pre-assigned initial on-boarding on a feature phone, as without the internet they would not be
able to initiate financial transactions.
This feature uses sound waves to make contact-less, offline, and proximity payments with any device.
